LearnFeed is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier from Apple. Depending on your Apple settings, Apple may also share your name and email address on first sign-in.
We store the following data to provide the app's functionality:
— Your reading history (which bites you have seen)
— Your saved bites (bookmarks)
— Your topic preferences (selected categories)
We do not collect location data, contacts, device identifiers, or any other information beyond what is described above.
Your data is used solely to provide and personalise your LearnFeed experience — to remember what you have read, keep your bookmarks in sync, and apply your topic preferences to your feed. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or third-party analytics.
We use Supabase to securely store your account data. Supabase acts as our data processor and stores data on infrastructure that meets industry security standards. We do not share your data with any other third party.
LearnFeed stores a local cache of knowledge bites, your reading history, and saved bites on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This allows the app to work offline. This data is private to the app and is not accessible to other apps.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
LearnFeed is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the address below. Users in Switzerland and the EU may have additional rights under the nFADP and GDPR respectively.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised.
